ABCD1, ABCD2, ABCD3, and ABCD4 are members of the ABCD gene family. These genes encode for peroxisomal ATP-binding cassette transporters, which play a role in the import of fatty acids into peroxisomes. Peroxisomes are cellular organelles involved in lipid metabolism and various other functions.

ABCD3: This gene encodes another member of the ABCD family and is associated with peroxisomal fatty acid beta-oxidation.
